Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests, updating them promptly on their status. Support food service staff by managing guest flow and ensuring timely seating arrangements that enhance the overall dining experience. Uphold food safety standards and promote guest relations by demonstrating hospitality excellence at all times. Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a busy restaurant environment is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with restaurant reservation management and guest services. Food service experience that highlights strong customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of restaurant table management system, Square. Excellent communication skills with the service staff and management. Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow seamlessly. Basic math skills for handling reservations and managing wait times accurately. A background in hospitality or guest relations will support success in delivering exceptional service standards.
