Job Description

Team members are responsible for creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all Rollerama guests. Employees may be assigned to the snack bar, skating floor, skate counter, or general cleaning duties based on business needs. Snack Bar Responsibilities
  • Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately.
  • Prepare and serve menu items safely and efficiently.
  • Operate the cash register and handle payments responsibly.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handwashing procedures.
  • Keep counters, equipment, tables, and food-preparation areas clean.
  • Restock food, drinks, cups, napkins, and other supplies.
  • Notify management when products or supplies are running low.
  • Complete all assigned opening and closing duties. Floor Guard Responsibilities
  • Have skates on and be ready before the skating session begins.
  • Monitor the skating floor and enforce all rink safety rules.
  • Assist guests who fall or need help.
  • Watch for racing, roughhousing, unsafe skating, or skating in the wrong direction.
  • Keep food and drinks off the skating floor.
  • Remain alert and actively supervise guests at all times.
  • Help with games, announcements, and activities when requested.
  • Report injuries, unsafe behavior, or other concerns to management immediately.
  • Assist at the skate counter when the skating floor does not require supervision. Skate Counter Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and provide the correct size rental skates.
  • Collect, organize, and properly store returned skates.
  • Keep skate racks, counters, and surrounding areas clean.
  • Inspect skates for damage and report needed repairs.
  • Help guests exchange skates when a different size is needed.
  • Keep rental skates organized and make sure the laces are properly tucked away.
  • Assist with admission, parties, and other customer-service duties as assigned. General Responsibilities
  • Arrive on time, in proper work attire, and ready to begin working.
  • Provide respectful and helpful customer service.
  • Stay off personal phones while working unless management gives permission.
  • Clean and restock assigned work areas during slower periods.
  • Sweep, mop, remove trash, clean restrooms, and complete other cleaning duties.
  • Follow all Rollerama policies, safety procedures, and management instructions.
  • Work cooperatively with managers, coworkers, security, and party hosts.
  • Check with management before leaving at the end of a shift. Position Requirements
  • Must be dependable, responsible, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as scheduled.
  • Must be comfortable working in a busy and active environment.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, skate, bend, and lift supplies during the shift.
  • Floor guards must be able to skate safely and confidently.
  • Previous experience is helpful but not required.
Training will be provided.
Pay:
$16.90 - $18.00 per hour
