The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Greet guests as they arrive and escort them to their tables, ensuring they feel welcomed. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, utilizing the POS system to track seating availability. Inform guests of dine-in policies, take/pack to-go orders, while answering any questions they may have about the menu. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, ensuring it is presentable at all times, along with restroom checks. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, including reservations and general questions about the restaurant. Assist in guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and courteously. Skills/Requirements Previous Host/Host experience is preferred, with a strong background in food service or hospitality. Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on creating positive dining experiences for guests. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is advantageous. Experience in hotel guest services or related fields is a plus. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Weekend availability is required. Proficient phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries professionally.
