In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth service experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and experience in food service or hospitality environments. This position offers an opportunity to develop guest relations skills and contribute to a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive guest services Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently Operate POS systems such as Toast Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area Assist with guest seating, ensuring timely service flow Support the food service team by coordinating guest orders when necessary Uphold high standards of hospitality, guest relations, and customer service throughout all interactions Have RBT Certificate Skills Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette Experience in restaurant or hotel guest services enhances effectiveness in this role Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest relations best practices Ability to work well within a team and maintain professionalism at all times
