Must be agile and ability to multi-task and be a team player Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times and reservation availability Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service transitions Maintain organized waiting lists, manage guest flow, and communicate wait times accurately to guests Uphold food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of reservation-related materials Support guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests promptly and courteously Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems Basic math skills for managing waitlists, tables, and billing procedures Demonstrated organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety protocols and hospitality best practices Experience with POS systems including Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences!
