Restaurant Host/Hostess

Responsibilities Warmly greet guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Toast POS and inKind Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and accommodating any accessibility needs Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth flow of service Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service hospitality roles Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette Familiarity with restaurant POS systems is preferred Previous restaurant experience, especially in busy or upscale environments, is a plus Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of hotel or guest services experience is advantageous for creating memorable guest interactions Join us in delivering outstanding hospitality by creating memorable first impressions!
