Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Host / Cashier, where you will be the welcoming face of Domenico's on the Lake, creating memorable experiences for every guest from the moment they arrive. Your energetic and friendly demeanor will set the tone for a positive atmosphere, operating OpenTable, guiding guests to their tables, and efficiently managing take-out orders. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine hospitality with customer service excellence, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Apply in person on Wednesday and Thursday between 4:00 and 5:00, or on Friday between 3:00 and 4:00 pm. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Manage guest seating arrangements, ensuring efficient flow and accommodating special requests. Handle take-out orders accurately using our InTouch POS system. Maintain a clean and organized front area, including host stand and cashier station. Assist with phone inquiries, reservations, and take-out orders while practicing courteous phone etiquette. Requirements Must be 18 or older Prior experience as a Host or Hostess in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism.
