This position is responsible for greeting guests, seating customers, managing reservations, taking orders, processing payments, and helping keep the front of the restaurant running smoothly. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service Seat guests and help manage table flow Take and organize reservations Answer phone calls and assist customers with questions, reservations, and takeout orders Take customer orders accurately Operate the Toast POS system Process cash, card, and other payments accurately Package and organize takeout and delivery orders Communicate clearly with kitchen staff regarding customer orders Keep the front counter, dining area, and host station clean and organized Restock front-of-house supplies as needed Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Complete opening and closing duties as assigned Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed Requirements Friendly, professional, and dependable Strong customer service and communication skills Basic math and cash-handling skills Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Able to stand for extended periods Restaurant, cashier, or host experience preferred Must obtain/maintain a valid California Food Handler Card Weekend availability is required Must follow company policies, including the no-phone policy while working
