Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional guest services Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts to optimize table turnover and guest flow Answer phone calls promptly using proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and inquiries Coordinate with the dining staff to ensure timely seating and efficient service delivery Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including menus and reservation logs Handle guest concerns or special requests with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction Support food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols during guest interactions Qualifications Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting preferred Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating counts, and billing procedures Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations best practices Organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest needs efficiently Ability to handle phone communication professionally, demonstrating good phone etiquette Hospitality experience that emphasizes guest relations and positive interactions Join our team as a Host where your enthusiasm fuels memorable dining experiences!
