Meals That Connect (Senior Nutrition Program of SLO County) Dining Site Host - San Miguel / Paso Robles Part-Time, Non-Exempt | $19-$22 per hour Monday-Friday | approx. 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Join a Mission That Matters Meals That Connect is seeking a friendly, dependable Dining Site Host to help create a welcoming and safe environment for older adults in Northern San Luis Obispo County. This position primarily supports the San Miguel dining site on Mondays and Wednesdays and the Paso Robles site during the remainder of the week. Occasional coverage at other North County locations may be required. What You'll Do Coordinate daily meal service and dining-site operations. Welcome and assist older adults, volunteers, and community members. Receive, prepare, serve, and store food following food-safety procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dining environment. Guide, train, and support site staff and volunteers. Track meal counts, attendance, donations, and other program information. Complete required reports and enter information into MTC systems. Respond professionally to client questions and concerns. Support community outreach and encourage participation in MTC programs. Communicate site needs and concerns to the Program Manager. What We're Looking For At least two years of relevant experience. Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team. Comfortable supervising or coordinating employees and volunteers. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Drive. Food-service, supervisory, volunteer-coordination, or senior-services experience is preferred. Familiarity with San Miguel, Paso Robles, and surrounding North County communities is a plus. Position Requirements Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation. Ability to travel between Meals That Connect locations as needed. Ability to pass a job-related background check consistent with applicable law. Ability to stand for extended periods, bend and stoop, and lift or carry up to 20 pounds. Authorization to work in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits Pay:

$19-$22 per hour, depending on experience. Paid vacation, major holidays, and sick leave.
