Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE
The Facility Attendant/Party Host is responsible for creating a fun, safe, and memorable experience for guests during birthday parties and group celebrations. This role includes setting up party spaces, hosting activities, assisting families, and ensuring excellent customer service from start to finish.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet birthday families and guests upon arrival and provide friendly, enthusiastic service. Maintain a safe environment by monitoring guest behavior and following safety guidelines. Manage party timelines to ensure smooth transitions between activities. Clean and reset party rooms between events. Report any issues, concerns, or incidents to management. Wiping down fitness equipment. Organizing weights in the weightroom. Assist with monitoring of building. Enforce gym and weight room rules.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must be at least 15 years old. Friendly, outgoing personality and strong customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Excellent communication skills, especially with children and families. Strong multitasking and time-management abilities. Reliability and punctuality. Previous experience working with children, hosting events, or customer service is a plus. No specific education requirements; all experience levels welcome.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights (typically 15-25 lbs). May require bending, lifting, standing for long periods, and moving supplies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Weekend and evening availability required. Frequent interaction with children and large groups. The position may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, chemically treated water, or other environmental irritants.
