Role Overview Hosts are responsible for managing the door, waitlist, and first impressions of the restaurant while supporting smooth table turns and dining room flow. This role requires applying CHEERS through strong awareness, communication, and intentional guest engagement — using both what you see on the floor and what you hear in conversation. Responsibilities + Duties Apply CHEERS consistently throughout the shift:

Cheerful Prompt Greet:

Acknowledge guests immediately, open doors when possible, and create a warm first impression

Hospitality First:

Support the dining room by pre-bussing, resetting tables, and stepping in where needed

Engage Guests:

Build rapport by asking open-ended questions (e.g., "What brings you in today?" or "Have you been here before?")

Ease Their Needs:

Anticipate guest needs by reading body language, managing expectations, and providing timely updates Ready for '
