Full-time Position Summary:

This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable experience while enjoying drinks, light meals, or snacks in an upscale environment located in a central social area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to tables if needed, and present menus while answering questions about offerings.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, recommend specials, upsell items (e.g., premium drinks or appetizers), and relay orders promptly to the bar or kitchen.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, wines, beers, coffee, and food items efficiently and professionally, ensuring proper presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, and handle requests or complaints promptly.
• Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and room charges, while maintaining accurate billing.
• Set up and break down service stations, including stocking supplies, polishing glassware, and performing side work.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and surrounding area, including clearing tables and wiping surfaces.
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including allergy awareness when describing menu items.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage guests professionally.
• Demonstrate strong problem solving skills and escalate appropriately for seamless resolution
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment and stand/walk for extended periods
• Strong knowledge of hotel services, and local Telluride area attractions (or ability to learn quickly)
• Ability to fulfill flexible scheduling requirements including but not limited to nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed Education and/or

Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent GED
• One
• Two years' hospitality or resort experience preferred
