WEEKENDS ARE A MUST

Duties Greet guests promptly with enthusiasm and genuine friendliness, establishing a welcoming ambiance. Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using popular table management systems. Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and menu inquiries while practicing excellent phone etiquette. Coordinate seating arrangements and waitlist management to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times. Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests, ensuring their needs are prioritized and met with care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including menus and reservation logs, adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service and efficient table turnover. Experience Prior experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with guests, team members, and handling phone inquiries effectively. Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances your ability to excel in this role. Experience in food service or hospitality roles helps build a solid foundation in guest relations and service excellence. Basic math skills are necessary for managing reservations, seating capacities, and billing procedures when needed.
