Head Restaurant Host/Hostess

Head Host/Hostess - Full-Time Artisan Restaurant | Southport, CT Artisan Restaurant is seeking an experienced Head Host/Hostess to lead our front-of-house guest experience. This is a full-time position requiring weekend availability and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all dining reservations Lead and direct host team and dining room flow Greet guests and ensure a warm, professional first impression Coordinate with service staff to deliver efficient, high-quality service Communicate guest needs clearly to the team Maintain thorough knowledge of menus and restaurant procedures Address guest inquiries and ensure seamless handoff to servers

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a host/hostess in fine dining (leadership experience preferred) Strong customer service and phone etiquette skills Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Familiarity with OpenTable preferred Ability to stand for extended periods Fluent in
