Responsibilities Warmly greet guests upon arrival with genuine enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to maximize table turnover and guest satisfaction Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times, specials, and restaurant policies Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are welcoming and tidy Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance Requirements Prior experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant environment preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with POS systems is a plus Experience in hospitality, serving, or hotel guest services is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times Join our team and be part of an energetic environment where your friendly attitude makes every guest feel valued!
