You will be responsible for managing restaurant reservations, greeting guests with enthusiasm, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and coordinate seating arrangements using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Handle restaurant reservation management efficiently to optimize seating flow and reduce wait times. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area by performing dishwashing duties and ensuring all utensils, glassware, and tableware are sanitized according to food safety standards. Support the kitchen staff by washing dishes promptly, managing dishwashing equipment, and ensuring proper disposal of waste. Communicate effectively with guests via phone to answer inquiries, take reservations, and provide excellent customer service using proper phone etiquette. Uphold guest relations by providing friendly, attentive service and addressing guest needs promptly to enhance their overall experience. Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest preferences, and table statuses to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred; hospitality experience is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members. Knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable. Basic math skills for handling reservations, bills, and transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and payment processing. Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and dishwashing schedules efficiently. Understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures in a restaurant environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Phone communication skills with courteous etiquette to assist guests over the phone confidently.
