Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize table utilization Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in guest flow efficiently using POS systems like Toast Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, and menu details Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction throughout their visit Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including menus and reservation logs Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Assist with basic food safety practices and uphold hospitality standards to enhance guest experiences Requirements Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and guest billing support when needed Organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a restaurant environment Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism Hospitality experience that demonstrates guest relations expertise is a plus Join us in creating memorable dining moments by delivering outstanding guest service in a vibrant environment!
