Lead Host HHC Atlantic LLC Delray Beach, FL Job Details Full-time 8 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description About the Job We are seeking a friendly, polished, and service-oriented Lead Host to serve as the first point of contact for members and guests. This role is responsible for overseeing daily host stand operations, ensuring seamless seating and reservation management, and supporting the front-of-house team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate is an organized leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
What You Do:
Greet and welcome members and guests with warmth, professionalism, and personalized service Oversee daily host stand operations, ensuring efficient seating and table management Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest requests to maximize dining room flow and guest satisfaction Coordinate communication between the dining room, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure seamless service Assist guests with menu, beverage, and venue information while providing recommendations as needed Address guest concerns and service recovery situations promptly and professionally Support dining room operations by monitoring service standards and assisting team members during peak periods Train and mentor hosts on service standards, reservation procedures, and guest engagement techniques Maintain accurate reservation records and guest information within reservation systems Inspect dining areas, host stations, menus, and service materials to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring the dining room is prepared for service Support leadership in assigning side work and maintaining operational efficiency Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures Foster a welcoming atmosphere while building strong relationships with members and guests. Previous experience in a host, lead host, or front-of-house hospitality role preferred Fine dining, private club, luxury hotel, or upscale restaurant experience preferred Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and support others Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure Knowledge of hospitality service standards and dining room operations Experience with reservation management systems preferred Professional appearance and polished demeanor Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds as needed Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the dining room as required Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining service excellence
