Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments using the restaurant reservation system. Coordinate seating to maximize efficiency while maintaining service standards. Escort guests to their tables and provide menus. Communicate effectively with managers, servers, bartenders, and support staff regarding table status and guest needs. Answer phone calls, assist with reservations, and address guest inquiries. Provide accurate wait time estimates and maintain guest engagement during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and waiting areas. Assist guests with special requests and accommodations whenever possible. Thank guests as they depart and invite them to return. Support the team during peak service periods and special events. Qualifications Previous host, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude.
