As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.

Role Summary:

The Outdoor Dining Host/Hostess will courteously greet and escort guests to tables and assist in seating, ensuring the hotel's standards of service. Additional responsibilities will include assisting in preparing the restaurant for service and maintaining the cleanliness of the space(s) at all times; taking reservations and maintaining reservation book; assisting in monitoring the guests' needs and all phases of the operation. This role may assume total responsibility when Manager is not present. We have a Part-Time position available. This role is a flexible position (AM / PM) and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. This role is designated for our oceanfront restaurant, Breeze Ocean Kitchen .

Essential Qualifications:

Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management to ensure mutual understanding. Ability to provide legible communication. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. 0-1 years' experience in similar position dealing with the general public.

Essential Skills:

Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous. Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the restaurant and by telephone. Ability to exercise good judgment with difficult guests. Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration and make concise decisions in pressure situations. Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data. Ability to provide clear, pleasant telephone communication with proper grammar.
