Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Manage the flow of guests and seating arrangements
• Provide accurate wait times and manage reservations
• Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations
• Assist in training and supervising host/host staff
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations
• Handle guest complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a clean and organized host station

Skills:

• Proficiency in using Opentable system for seating and reservation management
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred
• Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
• Strong guest relations skills to provide exceptional service
• Knowledge of food service procedures and restaurant operations
• Outstanding customer service skills to create a positive dining experience for guests
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and management
