Host / Hostess - Waterfront Restaurant Buzz's Lighthouse | Naples, FL Part-Time or Full-Time A waterfront view. A fast-moving team. A role that matters. At Buzz's Lighthouse, our host is an integral part of the restaurant—the first welcome, the person keeping the front door organized, and a hands-on teammate who helps service run smoothly. We're looking for someone who brings a friendly personality, a strong work ethic, and the ability to stay composed when things get busy. You'll work in a beautiful waterfront setting with a team that values people who take initiative and pitch in. What you'll do Welcome guests warmly and create a positive first impression. Manage seating and the waitlist, communicate wait times, and help maintain an organized flow of guests. Work closely with servers, bartenders, and managers to keep service moving. Assist with bussing, clearing, wiping, and resetting tables. Keep the entrance, host station, and surrounding areas clean and welcoming. Use a computer and restaurant systems to support daily operations. Handle guest questions and concerns with patience, confidence, and professionalism. You can stay calm during a busy rush, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to frustrated guests or challenging interactions. You also understand that hospitality is a team effort. You're willing to roll up your sleeves, help clear a table, and step in where needed without waiting to be asked. We're looking for someone with: A friendly, welcoming attitude and strong communication skills. Resilience, sound judgment, and the ability to remain courteous under pressure. The ability to multitask in a busy restaurant environment. Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn our systems. A practical, hands-on approach and pride in keeping the restaurant guest-ready. The ability to stay active throughout a shift, including standing, walking, and assisting with table clearing. Restaurant or customer service experience is helpful, but a great attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn matter just as much. Schedule options We may hire two part-time team members or one full-time team member , with shifts covering both days and evenings. Must have weekend availability. Seasonal opportunities run October through April. Year-round employment may be available for the right person.
