Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Your enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage guest flow efficiently will ensure our guests feel valued and cared for from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude as they arrive, making them feel immediately welcomed Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth seating flow Coordinate with the restaurant team to assign tables and optimize seating arrangements for efficiency and guest comfort Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about the restaurant, reservations, and wait times Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are welcoming and well-presented Assist with guest relations by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and courteously Support the overall guest experience by providing accurate wait times and estimated seating durations Requirements Previous host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting preferred Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure Prior experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus Knowledge of food service operations and guest services standards is advantageous Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences!
