Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude and assist with seating arrangements to optimize restaurant flow Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in guest waitlists efficiently using restaurant table management systems Resy Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries Maintain organized guest lists, reservation logs, and seating charts to ensure seamless service delivery Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to communicate guest needs and special requests promptly Uphold food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of menus and guest areas Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and fostering positive guest relations throughout their visit Experience Prior experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is required. Preferred 2 years minimum. Strong background in restaurant reservation management and familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as RESY Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally via phone and in person Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and guest counts accurately Experience with POS systems used in food service settings is advantageous Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards is desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a lively environment Join us if you're passionate about creating memorable dining experiences through outstanding guest relations!
