Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and inquiries Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and adherence to hygiene protocols Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient table turnover Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred Strong communication skills, including clear phone communication and guest relations Familiarity with restaurant table management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlists, and seating calculations Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with positive attitude and professionalism This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their hospitality career while creating memorable experiences for every guest.
