Job Description
Host/Host Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations, inquires, and Togo orders.
- Use Restaurant Manager POS system to manage guest orders and payments
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Assist servers and other staff members as needed to provide excellent guest service
Requirements:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong hospitality and customer service mindset
- Familiarity with POS system is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a professional demeanor
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members
