About the Role At Baking Social, we bring people together through baking, connection, and memorable experiences. We're looking for warm, outgoing Experience Hosts who love people, thrive in a lively environment, and take pride in making guests feel special. As an Experience Host, you'll be at the heart of the guest experience. From welcoming guests and serving refreshments to anticipating needs and celebrating special occasions, you'll help make every visit feel effortless and memorable. The Chef leads the baking; you lead the hospitality. Responsibilities & Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, provide seating assistance, and answer any initial inquiries with professionalism. Serve beverages, wine and other refreshments Monitor guest stations throughout the class, replenish supplies, clear dishes and anticipate needs Coordinate with the Chef to ensure classes run smoothly and guests receive timely assistance Assist with birthdays, anniversaries and other special moments Maintain clean, organized and beautifully presented guest areas throughout each shift Set-up and reset tables between classes, ensuring every group arrives to a prepared space Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive experience Complete opening and closing duties, restock supplies and follow established service and sanitation standards Requirements Naturally outgoing, personable, and enthusiastic about hospitality Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with guests Excellent attention to detail Able to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment A proactive team player who takes initiative and adapts easily Professional, dependable, and comfortable interacting with a diverse range of guests Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred, but not required Physical Requirements Ability to move throughout the studio and perform active duties during a six- to eight-hour shift Ability to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 35 lbs Ability to bend, reach, and assist with setup and resetting as needed Schedule & Compensation Full-time and part-time positions available. Six- to seven-hour shifts, with AM and PM schedules.
