Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservations using various table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and inquiries Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas Support guest services by addressing special requests and ensuring a positive dining experience Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude are essential Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone calls professionally and courteously Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and guest counts accurately Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating charts, and guest flow seamlessly Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism Previous experience in guest relations or customer service roles is highly desirable Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
