Job Description
A Restaurant Host welcomes guests in a warm and friendly manner, creating a positive and memorable experience. The Host is responsible for receiving and recording dining reservations on the telephone, and ensuring the proper setting up of dining and service areas. A Host also politely requests guests to wait in the waiting area if no table is available, monitoring the restaurant for open sections and tables, estimating wait times, and ensuring that the guests are comfortable while waiting for a table.
