Hours:
Typically 25-30 hours per week and 10-15 hours per week in off season
Required Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the operating season

Live at Crazy Horse Campground throughout the year Consistently work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the operating season Work some evenings and holidays as scheduled Clean and restock restrooms and laundry facilities Carry the campground emergency phone during assigned coverage periods Provide dependable guest and property support without constant supervision About the Position Crazy Horse Campground is seeking a dependable, friendly Campground Host to provide a reliable on-site presence for our guests and property. This is a hands-on hospitality and campground-support position. The Host welcomes guests, assists with reservations and staff scheduling, cleans assigned facilities, processes designated payments, monitors campground conditions, and responds when guests need assistance. This is not a campground manager position . Financial management, marketing, business development, major maintenance, and overall operational leadership are handled by other members of our team. The right person will enjoy campground life, communicate well with guests, take pride in keeping facilities clean and organized, and follow through when something needs attention. Primary ResponsibilitiesGuest Service and Reservations Prepare for upcoming arrivals and assist with guest check-ins Welcome guests and provide campground information Assist monthly and seasonal campers as they get settled Respond professionally to routine guest questions and concerns Assist with new reservations, changes, and extensions when assigned Accurately enter and document reservation activity in Campspot Follow established payment, cancellation, and refund procedures Refer unusual reservation issues to campground leadership Staff Scheduling and Office Support Help prepare and update campground staff schedules Coordinate approved schedule changes and open-shift coverage Notify leadership when appropriate coverage cannot be arranged Maintain clear and accurate scheduling records Monitor routine supplies and reorder approved items Check and distribute campground mail and packages Cleaning and Facility Readiness Clean and restock campground restrooms and laundry facilities Complete routine and periodic deeper cleaning Keep assigned guest areas clean, organized, and ready for use Monitor cleaning products, paper goods, and guest supplies Report maintenance, safety, and supply needs promptly Payments and Deposits Accept designated reservation, monthly, and seasonal payments Provide receipts and maintain accurate payment records Safeguard cash and payment information Prepare and make the campground's weekly bank deposit Report discrepancies or account concerns promptly Property and After-Hours Support Regularly move throughout the campground and interact with guests Observe property, facility, safety, and cleanliness conditions Handle straightforward guest or property concerns Carry the campground emergency phone during assigned coverage Contact leadership, maintenance, utility providers, or emergency services when necessary Document after-hours calls, incidents, and actions taken Ensure concerns are noticed, addressed when possible, and communicated promptly Required Qualifications Ability and willingness to live on-site year-round Consistent Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability during the operating season Dependable attendance and reliable follow-through Friendly, professional customer-service skills Willingness to clean restrooms, laundry facilities, and other guest areas Ability to handle payments, receipts, and deposits responsibly Basic computer, smartphone, text, and email skills Ability to learn Campspot and employee-scheduling systems Ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions during unexpected situations Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to safely perform the essential responsibilities of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is helpful but not required: Campground or RV park operations Workamping or campground hosting Hospitality or customer service Housekeeping or facility cleaning Cash handling or bank deposits Reservation or scheduling systems Property management Retail or front-desk operations Compensation and Site $15 per hour Typically 20-30 hours per week during the operating season Reduced hours and responsibilities during the off-season (typically 10-15 hours) Full-hookup RV site and standard utilities provided year-round Limited housing may be considered for a qualified applicant who does not own an RV Specific scheduling and after-hours coverage expectations will be discussed during the interview Individuals and couples are welcome to apply.
