Job Description
Apple Villa Famous Pancakes in Batavia is hiring for our front-of-house team. We are a busy, family-friendly breakfast and lunch restaurant known for our pancakes and warm, attentive service. We are open 7am to 2pm every day, so every shift is finished by mid-afternoon
- no nights and no late closes. We are currently hiring for three positions: SERVER
- $9.00 per hour plus tips
- Greet and seat guests, take orders, and deliver food and drinks promptly and accurately
- Answer menu questions and make recommendations
- Process payments accurately and handle guest concerns with a positive attitude
HOST / HOSTESS
- $15.00 per hour
- Welcome and seat guests and manage the waitlist during our weekend morning rush
- Answer the phone for to-go and catering orders
- Keep the dining room flowing and the front area clean and welcoming BUSSER
- $15.00 per hour
- Clear and reset tables quickly to keep the dining room turning
- Run water and coffee and support the servers during busy periods
- Keep service stations and the dining room clean and stocked What we're looking for:
- Friendly, upbeat personality and strong communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and move quickly in a high-volume setting
- Reliable attendance, including weekend and morning availability
- Prior restaurant experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person
- Able to stand for extended periods and carry trays and plates What we offer:
