Job Description
Akai Hana in Wilmette is an authentic Japanese Restaurant known for serving fresh sushi and traditional Japanese cuisine. We are looking for a sociable host to be the first customer contact and greet our customers with a smile and friendly attitude! Must be able to work nights and weekends. We are currently searching for a front host/cashier to join our team. Contact us today if you are interested for an interview. Duties include but are not limited to: Greeting and seating guests Handling online take out orders using POS system Processing credit card/cash payments without error Assisting others as needed Desired skill/experience: Has great work ethic who can work as a team Excellent verbal communication skill Basic computer skill (POS system) Familiar with or have interest in Japanese culture/cuisine Able to work flexible hours
