Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and organized host to be the welcoming face of Zaharakos! As a vital part of our hospitality team, you will create a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest relations. Duties Greet guests with a warm smile and friendly attitude, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they walk in Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Shift4 POS Answer phone inquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate information about reservations and wait times Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service and timely seating Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including waiting lists and reservation logs Assist with guest inquiries, and seating adjustments to enhance overall guest satisfaction Support guest relations by addressing concerns courteously and escalating issues to management when necessary Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is heavily preferred Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills and phone etiquette Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and guest relations best practices Prior experience working with diverse teams in food service or hospitality settings is highly valued Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable experiences for every guest.
