Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly first impression that sets the tone for their visit Manage restaurant reservations using Toast Tables, ensuring accurate booking and seating arrangements Coordinate guest seating efficiently to optimize table turnover while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere Assist servers with food running, plating, and delivering dishes to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction Handle phone inquiries professionally, including reservation requests, waitlist updates, and general questions with proper phone etiquette Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas to promote a tidy environment Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for Requirements Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with guests and team members Knowledge of restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlists, and billing support when needed Familiarity with food safety standards and proper serving procedures to assist during busy service times Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating flow, and guest requests efficiently Ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the restaurant, and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing exceptional guest service through your enthusiasm, organization, and hospitality expertise.
