Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, making them feel welcomed and appreciated Assist guests with seating arrangements. Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, addressing inquiries about reservations, wait times, or general questions. Coordinate with hosts and servers to ensure smooth guest flow and timely seating. Maintain organized guest lists and reservation logs while adhering to food safety and hospitality standards. Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a memorable experience. Experience Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and active listening Experience in food service or hospitality roles that involve guest interaction and customer service excellence. Basic math skills for managing reservations, seating counts, and POS transactions. Knowledge of phone communication best practices and phone etiquette. Organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently while maintaining high standards of guest service.
