Baton Rouge Area About Paint Remix Paint Remix is an interactive entertainment experience where paint meets music . Our events combine painting, music, karaoke, games, and great energy to create memorable experiences for birthdays, date nights, girls' nights, private celebrations, open sessions, corporate events, and more. We're building our event crew and looking for energetic, dependable people who know how to make guests feel welcome and keep a room engaged. The Role As a Paint Remix Event Host , you're one of the faces of the experience. This isn't a job where you stand in the corner and watch the event happen. You'll welcome guests, help set the tone, interact with the room, make announcements, facilitate activities, assist guests throughout the experience, and help keep the event moving from beginning to end. You don't need to be a professional entertainer—but you should be comfortable talking to people and bringing positive energy into a room. What You'll Do Welcome and engage guests Help create a fun, comfortable atmosphere Make announcements and guide guests through the Paint Remix experience Facilitate karaoke, games, contests, and other interactive activities Assist guests with basic event needs Help with guest check-in when needed Coordinate with the DJ and other event crew members Help keep events on schedule Assist with light setup and breakdown Represent Paint Remix professionally Help make sure guests leave saying, "We have to do this again." We're Looking for Someone Who Is Friendly and naturally engaging Comfortable speaking in front of groups Energetic without being over-the-top or forced Dependable and punctual Professional and well-presented Able to read a room and interact with different personalities Comfortable with music, karaoke, games, and social environments Able to take direction while also thinking on their feet Available for evening and weekend events Comfortable assisting with light event setup and breakdown Experience in hospitality, events, entertainment, customer service, nightlife, DJ/MC work, theater, teaching, ministry, or public speaking is helpful—but personality, reliability, and the ability to connect with people matter more to us than a specific résumé. Schedule This is an as-needed event position , primarily during evenings and weekends. Event opportunities will vary based on Paint Remix's booking schedule and open-session calendar. This may be a great fit for someone looking for flexible additional income rather than traditional full-time hours.
