Job Description

•URGENTLY HIRING

•Love trading cards? Know the hobby? Comfortable on camera? The RIP Collective is one of the largest and fastest-growing breaking channels on Whatnot , known for massive breaks, premium products, and a loyal community of collectors. We're looking for a knowledgeable, energetic, and sales-driven Live Trading Card Breaker & Whatnot Host to join our Baton Rouge team. You'll host live breaks, talk cards, connect with collectors across the country, and bring the personality and energy that keep customers coming back. Sports-card knowledge is preferred, but we're open to candidates with strong experience in other hobby categories, including entertainment, comic, TCG, Pokémon, anime, gaming, and other collectible cards. What You'll Do Host live breaks and sales on Whatnot Present cards and products accurately and enthusiastically Engage with viewers and build relationships with collectors Explain products, break formats, teams, players, characters, and available spots Recognize parallels, inserts, autographs, numbered cards, case hits, and other major pulls Maintain energy and conversation throughout extended streams Help drive sales through personality, product knowledge, and audience engagement Prepare and organize products before shows Complete required break sheets and document results accurately Follow company procedures and Whatnot policies Work closely with breaker assistants, shipping staff, and management What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of at least one major trading-card category Comfortable, confident, and natural on camera Outgoing personality with strong communication and sales skills Reliable, professional, organized, and detail-oriented Able to multitask in a fast-paced live environment Available to work evenings and weekends Local to Baton Rouge and able to work in person Previous breaking, Whatnot, live-streaming, sales, public-speaking, or content-creation experience is strongly preferred. Compensation $75,000 annual base salary Commission based on sales and performance Final compensation based on experience, hobby knowledge, and demonstrated on-camera ability Opportunities to grow with one of Whatnot's leading trading-card breaking teams Think You Belong Behind the Break Table? From $75,000.00 per year
