Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage guest relations effectively while handling cash transactions and operating the POS system. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating flow. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Operate the Aloha POS system to process orders, handle payments, and maintain accurate cash registers. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area and dining space. Assist in training new staff members on guest service protocols and POS operations as needed. Experience Previous experience in customer service or guest services, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on effective interaction with guests and team members. A passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable dining experiences.
