Duties Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems and POS systems like Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization while minimizing wait times Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, assist with reservation inquiries, and handle guest questions effectively Maintain organized guest lists, waitlists, and seating charts to ensure smooth flow during busy hours Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing special requests and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit Support food safety protocols by communicating timely updates to the kitchen and serving staff as needed Requirements Previous host/hostess experience or in a similar customer service role within a restaurant environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a lively setting Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clear and friendly interaction Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and billing inquiries Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus Ability to remain professional, courteous, and energetic during high-volume service times Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing outstanding guest services!
