Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Utilize POS system for managing orders and payments. Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests. Support servers during busy periods by assisting with food delivery or drink refills when necessary. Qualifications Previous host/host or food service experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with Toast POS system, is a plus. Experience in hospitality or hotel guest services is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries effectively. A passion for serving others and creating memorable dining experiences.
