The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand. Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or addressing inquiries. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest complaints or concerns with grace and professionalism, ensuring satisfaction. Assist in maintaining a positive atmosphere by engaging with guests and staff alike. Skills Previous Host/Host experience preferred, with a strong background in food service. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction. Restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in high-volume settings. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Experience in hotel environments or guest services can be beneficial. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment. Knowledge of serving etiquette and hospitality standards is essential. Proficient phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries professionally. Strong guest relations skills to foster repeat business and positive experiences.
