Full-time Job Summary G Grant 1873 is seeking a polished, welcoming, and dependable Host to join our upscale restaurant team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, the Host plays an important role in creating an organized, professional, and memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate has strong hospitality experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage reservations and seating during busy service periods. Responsibilities Greet every guest warmly and professionally Manage reservations, walk-ins, and the guest waitlist Seat guests efficiently while maintaining proper table rotation Coordinate with servers and managers regarding table availability Answer phone calls and respond to general guest questions Communicate special occasions and guest requests to the appropriate team members Keep the entrance and host stand clean, organized, and presentable Assist guests as they enter and leave the restaurant Handle guest concerns professionally and notify management when necessary Support the front-of-house team during busy service periods Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of hosting, restaurant, hospitality, or related customer-service experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to remain calm and welcoming in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Compensation $16
