The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to serving food and beverages. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu descriptions and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for processing payments. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive guest relations. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings to provide informed recommendations. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation regulations is essential. Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required.
