Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly, energetic attitude and provide excellent customer service from arrival to departure Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort and satisfaction Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant policies Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Support the host team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk area Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining atmosphere Requirements Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting or related food service environment Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction abilities Proficiency in restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Knowledge of restaurant table management systems and POS systems including POS terminals and software like Micros or Aloha POS Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and organization skills Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and billing processes Experience with food safety standards and hospitality best practices is preferred Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus but not required Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service with positive attitude and professionalism Embark on a rewarding career where your hospitality talents shine!
