Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Night or Morning Swamper/ Cleaner to join our dynamic cleaning team. This vital role ensures the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall maintenance of our facilities during designated shifts. Whether working overnight or in the early morning hours, you will play a crucial part in creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial or custodial experience who thrive in fast-paced settings and take pride in their work. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of windows, floors, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals Conduct detailed sanitation procedures to maintain infection control standards across all areas Handle heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture, cleaning equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently Operate pressure washers and other specialized cleaning tools to ensure exterior and interior surfaces are spotless Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed Follow strict safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) during all cleaning activities Maintain detailed records of cleaning tasks performed, supplies used, and safety inspections conducted Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles with a focus on sanitation and infection control Skilled in window cleaning, floor care (including stripping, waxing, buffing), and pressure washing techniques Ability to handle chemical products safely while adhering to OSHA guidelines for chemical handling Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting regularly Excellent customer service skills to address any facility-related concerns professionally Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and chemical dispensers Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards and safety regulations This role is paid and offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a clean and safe environment.
