Job Description

Overview We are hiring for a Daytime Weekday Host Position. Applicants should have experience in contemporary casual restaurants and thrive in fast paced, intentional work environments. Our model is geared for staff that are comfortable and confident in conversation, aware at all times and kind. The owners have decades of experience in restaurant ownership and know the value of a good employee and human. Duties Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, maintaining a waitlist and taking reservations. Present a polished, professional look and keep a positive, helpful attitude while under pressure. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including polishing silverware, setting tables, etc. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and food safety standards. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Desire to learn and grow in the service industry. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
