Duties Greet guests promptly with a positive attitude, providing exceptional guest services from arrival to departure Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems, ensuring optimal seating arrangements Assist guests with seating arrangements, waitlist management, and answering inquiries about menu or specials Handle take-out orders with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring timely preparation and pickup coordination Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing orders and payments Maintain cleanliness and organization of host/hostess station, dining area, and take-out pick-up zones Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth service flow Practice proper phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering guest questions via phone calls Uphold food safety standards and ensure guest relations are prioritized at all times Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience in a restaurant setting preferred; food service experience is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in food service environments Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and guest relations Join our team as a Hostess/To-Go Specialist where your enthusiasm fuels memorable guest experiences!
