Wednesday-Sunday; flexible scheduling with weekend availability required About Carolina Castile Carolina Castile is a North Carolina-based soap brand focused on high-quality Castile soap, distinctive scents, and products people genuinely enjoy using. We are looking for someone who can learn our products well enough to talk about them naturally and confidently — how they are made, what they are made from, how they are used, and why customers love them. You do not need to come in already knowing everything about Castile soap. We provide paid training. What matters most is that you enjoy this type of product, are comfortable learning about it in depth, and can communicate that enthusiasm to a live audience. About the Role We are hiring an in-person TikTok Live Sales Host to host livestream shopping events from our North Raleigh studio. This is not an influencer or content-creator role. This is a live sales position where communication, audience engagement, reliability, product knowledge, and results matter. You'll be live selling on our TikTok account that already has an established audience, so you will not be responsible for building a following from scratch. Your job is to engage the people who enter the Live, keep the conversation moving, build a welcoming community, answer questions, and ultimately help convert viewers into customers. At times, you may be speaking live to 100-200+ viewers. The best fit for this role will be someone who can comfortably "hold the room" — similar to speaking on a stage — while still making individual viewers feel welcomed and included. What You'll Do As a TikTok Live Sales Host, you will: Host live shopping events from our North Raleigh studio Tell the story of Carolina Castile and our products Explain how our soaps are made and what they are made from Teach customers how the products can be used Explain different use cases and answer customer questions Engage viewers throughout the Live and help create a welcoming community Keep the conversation flowing during extended livestreams Run giveaways, auctions, flash sales, and other Live promotions Encourage purchases and help drive sales Work toward defined sales and performance goals Learn our product line, ingredients, scent profiles, brand story, and common customer questions Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled Lives Occasionally spend a short amount of paid time before a Live reviewing promotions or preparing for the event Livestream sessions are typically 2-4 hours at a time and are generally hosted while seated, although standing is also an option. Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: Outgoing, warm, personable, and conversational Comfortable speaking continuously in front of a live audience Able to engage and manage a large group of viewers Naturally welcoming and good at making people feel included Sales-oriented and comfortable encouraging customers to make a purchase Quick on your feet and comfortable responding to live questions and comments Reliable and punctual Coachable and willing to learn Comfortable learning detailed product information Able to maintain energy and conversation during longer live sessions A high-energy personality or sense of humor can be a plus, but neither is required. We care much more about your ability to connect with people, communicate clearly, build trust, and drive results. Experience Previous experience is not required . Experience in any of the following areas is helpful but not necessary: TikTok Live or other livestream platforms Retail or sales Hospitality Public speaking Acting or performing On-camera work Customer service Live events or audience engagement If you do not have formal experience but are confident that you can learn quickly, speak comfortably to a large audience, and connect naturally with people, we still encourage you to apply. Schedule We operate TikTok Lives Wednesday through Sunday . Wednesday & Thursday Hours are generally available from around lunchtime through 9 PM, with shifts typically at least 4 hours. Friday, Saturday & Sunday Our biggest scheduling needs are: Early morning shifts, such as 6 AM-10 AM Evening and late shifts, such as 7 PM-11 PM , with some shifts potentially running until midnight. Note, if late hours don't work for you, we are open to hiring morning shift only, part time, for the right candidate. Some midday hours are also available Weekend availability is required, along with availability for either early-morning or evening/late shifts . Longer shifts may be available on weekends. Split shifts are also an option. For example, someone might work an early morning Live and return later for an evening Live. We are open to both part-time candidates and people interested in working more hours. Full-time hours may be available for the right person. Compensation $22/hour base pay + performance-based commission Most performers who meet sales goals earn approximately $25-$32/hour total . Paid training is provided.
