Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Hostess/Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure they have a memorable dining experience. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements with efficiency and warmth. (must be 21+) Duties Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival, making them feel valued and comfortable. Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable & Toast to optimize seating flow. Coordinate seating arrangements with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations. Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing accurate information about menu options, wait times, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a tidy appearance at all times. Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns or special requests courteously and efficiently. Support the team during busy periods by helping with basic food service, bussing, or guest assistance as needed. Skills Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a fine dining establisment is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in diverse settings. Familiarity with OpenTable and Toast POS reservation management. Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities to create a welcoming atmosphere. Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services, serving, and hotel experience is advantageous. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
